As part of supporting the development of a community work response to the refugee crisis that includes but goes beyond the current debate about numbers, the CWC has developed a proposal for the development of a comprehensive approach to supporting refugees that are to be located in Ireland. This proposal was sent to the Ministers for Social Protection; Environment, Community & Local Government; Justice & Equality; and Foreign Affairs. The proposal is can be downloaded here and we would ask members to use it to lobby your own representatives to seek a comprehensive response to supporting refugees.
